Holy Sepulcher Life Teen, a Eucharist-centered Catholic youth ministry, is committed to empowering the youth of our parish to live as disciples of Jesus Christ daily, encouraging the youth to fully participate in the life of the Church, and caring for the total wellbeing of all the teens entrusted to our care. Aided by the Holy Spirit, we strive to accomplish these commitments by providing vibrant and varied opportunities such as Life Nights, Bible studies, hang-outs, discipleship groups, retreats, mission trips, social events, etc. for the youth to grow deeper in their relationships with Christ and others.
What is Life Teen?
Life Teen is a youth ministry that makes Jesus Christ the center of EVERYTHING we do. In a world plagued with indifference, aimlessness, and shallow materialism Life Teen offers a youth ministry rooted in Christ that aims at reaching all teens regardless of background, interests or spiritual maturity.
From attending Sunday Life Nights or Thursday hangouts/scripture studies to going on a weekend retreat or just going on a fun trip like Cedar Point, in everything we do we try to live like Christ, with Christ, and for Christ while having as much fun as humanly possible.
Life Nights give teens a way to grow in their faith, through skits, faith sharing, witness talks and interactive discussions. They also help teens to learn more about current issues they’re facing and how to positively navigate them. Life Nights are fun, interactive, loud, by NO means boring and are every Sunday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Youth and Young Adult Center!
Because we are bombarded by noise throughout every moment of every day, it can be difficult to remain focused on Jesus. A retreat is just what it sounds like. We retreat from the noise of the world in order to re-focus our lives around God. At Life Teen, we go on several retreats throughout the year (usually on weekends), which are spent with other teens who wish to refocus themselves on Jesus too. To find out more check out the Life Teen Events page.
We take to heart Jesus’ words that whatever we do for the least of our brothers and sisters we do for Him. With that in mind, Life Teen provides a variety of service opportunities, such as helping at food banks, assisting other charitable organizations like the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, visiting and caroling at nursing homes, going on mission trips, and many more!
Only the best! The sky is the limit when it comes to going on a fun trip. Here is a (non-exhaustive) list of things we have done in the past: Cedar Point, ski trips, ice-skating, lock-ins, camp outs, hiking trips, all-night bowling and laser tag, concerts, canoe trips, and more. The list could go on! We like to have fun at Life Teen!
